Let them shout when I stand silenced.
Let them fight while I am at peace.
Let them be merry whilst I lay in misery.
Let them ignore me when I need attention.
Let them all do what they must.
Let them mistreat me when I am just.
Let them boast while I struggle.
Let them jump when I am paralyzed.
Let them hate me when I love.
Let them stand tall when I have fallen.
Let them throw salt on my wounds.
Let them all leave me in their dust.
Let them all be friends when I need only ONE to trust.
