A Lonely Place

Lord I need Your comfort

In this moment.

I'm in a lonely place

It seems I am forgotten,

And each way I turn

There is no one.

Lord I need Your attention.

It seems people are too busy

To care about little ole' me.

Lord I need Your time.

Everyone's got their own thing

And I've got mine.

Lord I need your advice.

There's no one else to go to 

But you.

And so I'm in a lonely place.

Friends

I'm not particularly fond of friendships anymore, but I focus on my friendship with God. Though it hurts a little to know that I never really have a friend to see about me, I guess it doesn't matter. People will be people and will almost always disappoint. God never does.
